Hello dearest backers!
Exciting news, I have the advanced book copies in hand!
Heavy Breathing
Honestly it came out better than I had hoped! I have never seen my work look better in print, the fidelity on each piece is stunning; I am seeing new textures and marks on every piece.
The foil color really adds something to the package.
I really am proud of how it turned out, I have you all to thank for this. I really hope you enjoy it when you get it in your hands!
Shipping timeline and address surveys!
And about getting these into your hands! The bulk of the order is still in transit from Korea, barring any customs snafus the books will be with me early September. I will then spend the rest of the month shipping.
Most of you have now filled out your order surveys, if you haven't or need to change your shipping address you can do it by following THIS link.
Just before shipping begins I will lockdown shipping addresses, don't worry I will let you know before hand to make sure everyone's address is up to date.
I've never had to handle so many orders all at once so please bare with me if it takes longer than you expect, I'll keep in regular contact about how things are going. I do expect to have shipping done come October but it's no guarantee.
That's it for now, I will let you all know when the full order is here! I'll make sure you see what it's like to hide a literal ton of books in a studio apartment.
Till then,
<3 Michael

Hi guys!
OMG that's it! FATHOMS is now with the printer!
Here is a preview of the process section. It turned out so much more dense and in depth than I had anticipated; I'm pretty proud of it.
Here are the hard copy proofs!
Proofs!
So now what? Now, we wait.
Well you wait, I have a ton of work to do. I will be getting started on sketches and commission level backers, so please keep an eye out for that! The printer thinks we are still on schedule to get the books September-early October. It's not a guarantee but it's better than I had hoped considering how late I was in getting them the files.
Speaking of surveys, most of you have now filled them out, there are 35 backers left who need to will out their surveys. Go to THIS link to do that. If you need to change your address you can also do that at THIS link.
That's it for now guys! You can keep up with me on the social medias Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr. You can also sign up for my newsletter HERE.
Hit me up with KS messages if you have any questions.
THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone!

Hello dear backers!
Things have finally come unstuck, I've finished the final piece for the book!
No one has seen this piece completed yet, it will debut in a few weeks in the Enchanted Brush Exhibition at the Mazza Museum. Here is a look for your eyes only!
Only fear shall follow thee
I've documented every step of creating this piece and will have a multi page process section in the book! Also this is my first traditionally colored piece in YEARS, busted out my dusty old watercolors for this, just for you guys ;)
So now I'm finishing up layout, I've talked to my printer today and looks like we are still on point for getting the books our hands by September! More updates as we make progress.
My good friend and more importantly, epic comic book artist Tim Wilkins has just launched a Kickstarter for issue 2 of his wordless graphic epic Mirenda! Tim's work is truly like nothing else out there, please take a look, you won't regret it! Check it out HERE!
Wylie Beckert hardly needs an introduction, her work stands on its own grace and power. She's been working on this project for over a year and now it's come to fruition! You can pick up a deck OR a book (thanks to stretch goals). You cannot deny the sheer beauty of this work, check it out HERE!
Thanks it for now guys, thanks for sticking with me!

Ready to pounce and HEROES Con!

Hi guys!!
It's now June and I am getting so close to getting the book off to printers! What's taking so long?
Remember when I said I was creating a new piece and documenting the process step by step, to show you the process in the book? That piece totally failed, it simply wasn't good enough. So I've reset and things are looking good now. Here is a teaser!
Dem Stripes!
I'm excited, this is one of the most complicated pieces I've ever done. I'm excited to show you the step by step of how it is unfolding.
Otherwise the printer is all set and ready to go, they've sent me these dummy books.
Blank dummies!
These are blanks, made to make sure all my specs are on point. Does the cover stock feel heavy enough? Is the interior paper quality and thickness up to par? Yes, so far everything feels great! As soon as I get the printer my files we can move on to making print proofs and make sure the art is printing okay. So basically everything is waiting on me right now.
HEROES CON!
Another month another show! This weekend I'll be in Charlotte, North Carolina exhibiting at HEROES CONVENTION! If you are also there this weekend please come by and say hi!
Artist Alley 1407!
Okay, that's all for now. Till next update!

Hello dearest backers!
Surveys
Most of you have filled out a survey, thank you so much! Of course you will be able to change your address if anything changes leading up to shipping which is still set for September.
There are still 90 people who have not filled out their surveys yet, if you haven't seen the survey emails you can fill your survey out through the link HERE.
Happenings
Still working on the book, I've decided I want to create a new piece for the process section so you guys can have a proper step by step into how I create a piece. Don't worry, I believe I'm still on point for a September release!
I've also been working on assignments including a magazine cover and some group show pieces.
An editorial piece about military overspending.
