Setting it all up!

Hello guys!!
So it's been two weeks, right after the campaign ended my body gave up and I got a pretty terrible head cold for over a week! I'm just glad I made it through the whole crazy month without succumbing, I am now back in fighting shape!
So where are we at now?
My printer is now locked in and ready for me to deliver files. I'm am really excited to be working with these guys, the work they do is all GREAT quality.
Book layout is very close to done now, what is taking longer than expected is writing. Writing the book's intro and other thoughts throughout to each section of the book. I really that these to be insightful and worth reading. Writing is not a strength of mine so I am taking time to make sure it's all as strong as possible.
I have been digging through 6 years of process sketches for the process and practice section. I want to show how I think about creating pieces, the tools and materials I use. This part is a fair bit of work, check out this paper explosion.
6 years of thinking, exploded all over the floor
I plan to have the book locked down and sent to the printer by the end of next week, which is a bit later than I had originally hoped but quality has to trump speed.
Surveys
I will be sending you guys surveys very very soon, like tonight or tomorrow soon.
These surveys will be for your shipping addresses. I will send an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys. Its best to fill the survey out asap as it's easy to forget about later. I will of course resend and remind you about the surveys leading up to when the books get to me.
You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey, just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! If you decide later that you want to edit your survey, you can go back and change it any time before I lock down the surveys for processing.
You will be asked to provide shipping information and though the survey you will be able to add to your pledge for add-ons like additional books and more prints if you'd like. I will also have pre-orders setup for late comers, if you know anyone who missed the campaign let them know they can now put down a pre-order by heading to this spot https://fathoms-the-art-of-michael-manomivibul.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders
Thanks you guys! I'll keep updating as things move forward!

You guys, <3
THANK YOU
THANK YOU to the friends and colleagues who shared and pushed the project on my behalf, that trust and respect means SO MUCH to me.
THANK YOU to the backers who put down and supported the project! There are so many worthy projects and creators out there, I'm so honored for this support. You've not only given me the ability to make this book but also the confidence to keep making MY work.
I will be using backerkit for post campaign logistics, the surveys I'll send you guys will be crucial in making sure the books get to you in a smooth and timely manner. I will let you know when those will go out.
So what now? It's time to MAKE! I will be sitting down to finish putting the book together, I'm still working on printers and logistics. I'll need to start on the 211 book sketches I owe you guys!
I also will be putting that painting demo video together :)
I will be posting updates on Kickstarter of course, but it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to follow me in some other way as well.

This is it you guys!!
WOW, I cannot believe we are here right on the edge of 300%!
When I hit the big green launch button I NEVER expected this kind of response, I knew I had a small following but I did not know the depth of support and enthusiasm that existed for my work. I am humbled and honored beyond words.
I know I don't technically need it anymore but part of me wants to see how far we can get this whole crazy kickstarter thing to go, so let's give it one last push!
Share the project with those you think would also enjoy the book and this work, share because you think it might make someone else excited.
Thank you so SO much! See you on the other end of all this :)
One last one last shout out! I wanted to turn your eyes and give a shout out to a friend of mine also running a kickstarter. Jacob Walker is printing a collection of his Lovecraft inspired ink drawings, you can also get an adult coloring book too! Make sure to check it out HERE

LAST LAP
Final stretch now, it's been such an amazing ride but it's not over yet! Do share with those you think might like the book too and lets see how far we can go with all this!
LAST CONVENTION
It has been SO COOL meeting many of you through the last month, all across the country! I really am stunned by the support, its so rewarding to meet you face to face and thank you personally. There is one show left now, the real boss monster.
ECCC artist alley table V1!
I'll be in Seattle this weekend, the show runs from Thursday 7th till Sunday 10th, this is the long haul big one and I'd love to pass the time by meeting you!
IN OTHER NEWS
Along with running this campaign and traveling to 3 (now 4) different shows I also put out some freelance work!
I made four pieces for the QUANTUM SHORTS 2015 flash fiction writing competition. Short stories inspired by quantum principals! Stories about the multiverse, monsters under your bed and love just out of reach.
Ana
Despite my hectic schedule and and the tight deadline, I had to take this on. These stories were so much fun to tackle, this is my favorite kind of work to get.
You can read all the winning stories and see the other illustrations I did HERE. I also did an interview about my process working on these HERE.
That's it for now! Thank you all again for your continued support, let keep pushing and see where we can go. I'm dreaming up some final final stretch goals and will update soon.

(Almost) 250%! New York! Interviews!

250%!!?
At almost halfway through the campaign we are SO CLOSE to 250% funded!!
Let's take a minute to talk a bit more more about Stretch Goals. A few folks have said that I should be pushing a bit harder with stretch goals, but the honest truth is I am in my own cautious way.
I have been approached by new printers, each offering new services and further possibilities for the book, I have a new contact for a high end art book printer, one who has printed some of the best books in my own personal collection!
Basically I am looking into what I can do to make this all even better but I'm not in a place to make promises just yet. Trust that the stretch goaliest goal is the bestest book I can make!
BUT don't be surprised to if you find a few extra extras in your package when this is all said and done.
I talked about all this a little on One Fantastic Week this morning, a weekly web show for sci fi/fantasy artists to talk business, creativity and the hustle of being independent artist. It's a pretty meaty talk where I ponder Kickstarter and life on the convention circuit.
Speaking of conventions...
MoCCA Fest 2016 in New York!
It was an absolute pleasure meeting you guys at WonderCon in LA!! Excited to say I'll be at MoCCA Fest in New York this weekend! I'd love so much to see you and thank you in person for your support.
Shout out and share!
I wanted to share a fellow artist's project before I go, Tawny Fritz has put together a beautiful sketch book and is near the end of her funding campaign. I'm getting mine, I think you might like it too! Check her project out HERE
Thank you!
Thank you all so much for the continued love and support!
